FARM MARKET REPORT

Scott Rhoads, a grading specialist for the PA Department of Agriculture, attends every livestock sale at the Indiana Farmers Livestock Auction.  As animals are sold, he grades them by evaluating how lean or fat they are.  He also records how many of each grade of animal are sold and what the high and low prices are.  His records keep local farmers informed of prevailing livestock prices, and help them determine before they go to the sale what price they should expect.  We will be updating this weekly with our current Farm Market Report.
